FACT Counseling Services - All FACT services are provided in
English and Spanish
If you, your child or someone you care about has been sexually or physically
abused, witnessed domestic violence or has been traumatized by some form of
emotional or physical assault or perpetrated inappropriate sexual behavior –
Family and Child Treatment (FACT) has a number of programs designed especially
for those issues. We understand and we are here for you.
Services are effective, confidential and are regulated by state and federal
guidelines intended to protect the confidentiality and security of all clients.
The FACT staff is comprised of a caring and experienced professional group of
Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Interns and
Marriage and Family Therapists. Services are based on a sliding fee scale that
considers client income and ability to pay. Through grants, foundations and
individual and corporate donations, no one is turned away because of an
inability to pay for services.
For Children and Teens
Stepping Stones Children’s Counseling Services includes: Individual,
Family Counseling, Assessments, Art and Play Therapy appropriate for children
ages 3 - 17. Services are also available in Henderson for Henderson residents.
Children's counseling services for Henderson families are offered at the HACA
Family Resource Center. For appointments for child counseling or
assessments call 702-566-0576 ext 12.
Adolescent Substance Abuse Program – Funded by the State of Nevada
Health Division Bureau of Drug and Alcohol.
Comprehensive drug and alcohol evaluations are provided through Life Choices
Education Programs and are available at outreach locations throughout the
community.
Specialized Services
Donna’s House Central– Located at Family Court, Donna's House
provides a safe and supervised exchange and visitation place for children and
their parents.
Sexual Abuse Family Education Program – S.A.F.E. Program –
These groups are designed for parents of children who have been sexually abused
and are in need of support through working with other parents in similar
situations.
Assessments - FACT provides many different forms of assessments
and evaluations for children and adults to determine the best course of
treatment as a result of the abuse they may have suffered or perpetrated.
